2018 Ice Out - May 4th
Ice is officially out on Half Moon on Friday May 4th (May the fourth be with you.) .
Docks at the Half Moon beach and landing will be going in today.

Loons Arrived
Loons have arrived at the lake today, May 2, 2018. A pair of loons on north end of the lake and a single loon on the south end.

New Law - Spotter not needed for water skier with wide angle mirror
Governor Walker signed Senate Bill 69 in to law yesterday. This eliminates the need for a spotter if the boat is equipped with a wide angle mirror. The law becomes effective March 30.

Ice-on at Half Moon Lake
Official ice-on the lake is: December 10th

Lake was still partially open Dec. 9th & finally froze over completely Sunday Dec. 10th. This was a strange fall - we had ice on & off the lake at least 4 or 5 times.
